1. Data controller

2. Data we collect

  • Booking data: name, email, phone, dates, number of guests.
  • Payment data: processed directly by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store card data.
  • ID data (guest registration): full name, ID/passport, nationality, date of birth, home address. Required by Royal Decree 933/2021.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (essential cookies only).

3. Purpose & legal basis

  • Managing your booking: contract execution.
  • Invoicing and accounting: legal obligation.
  • Guest report to SES.Hospedajes: legal obligation.
  • Operational communication (confirmations, check-in instructions): contract execution.

4. Recipients

  • SES.Hospedajes (Ministry of Interior): mandatory guest registration.
  • Stripe, Inc.: payment processing.
  • Supabase / AWS: database hosting (EU region).
  • Resend: transactional email delivery.
  • Property owners (only data strictly necessary for the stay).

5. Retention period

Booking data is kept for 6 years (Spanish tax retention period). Guest registration data is kept for the period required by Royal Decree 933/2021 (minimum 3 years).

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, and data portability. To exercise these rights, email info@vitahost.es. You may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
